If you received a notification from the HelloPackage system, with a Check-In ID that does not work, there are several possible causes.
Some reasons are:
- The internet to your Package Room is down.
- You are attempting to
- Reuse a code that has already been used to retrieve a package.
- Use a code for a package that was Pending during the retrieval of another package. (NOTE: when one code is used and multiple packages are available, the system will mark ALL packages as Picked Up).
- You are using a code that is not a Package Code
In each of these instance you should contact Support by clicking here to confirm the reason, so that next steps can be taken, if needed
Generating an OTC
If you package is time sensitive, you may have the ability to create a One Time Code (OTC). This code is..
- Good for four (4) hours
- Able to provide temporary access to your HelloPackage room
- Unable to provide the Zone location of your package. (You will need to refer to the original carrier notification or contact Support to help with this).
Also, this feature is available at the discretion of the property management team, so it is not available in all locations.
If this feature is not available in your community, please wait 6 hours after the package delivery time to allow time for notifications to be sent. If you have not received a code after this you can contact Support here.
Special Note: Wait 2 minutes before using a self-generated OTC, to allow time for code to reach your HelloPackage Room system.
