In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), HelloPackage has set up a feature that will prompt Delivery Drivers to place packages on the lower shelf for easy access.
The flag to enable this feature is located in your HelloPackage Profile. After creating your profile, simply login and click on your profile avatar in the upper right corner:
You will get a dropdown menu.
Select “Profile”
Once in your Profile, you will see the “ADA User” option at the bottom of your list.
Thumbs Up means the option is enabled.
Thumbs Down means the option is disabled.
Click on “Edit Profile.”
- To enable, check the box for “Ada User”
- To Save, click “Submit.”
When this feature is enabled, the system will prompt Delivery Drivers to place new package deliveries on the bottom shelf (if available).
Should you find that Delivery Drivers are not following up on this prompt, we recommend contacting the company the Delivery Driver works for, to issue a complaint.
