Vacation Requests can be submitted in order to prevent the accumulation of Late Fees (where enforced; please see your community manger for details) and prevent packages from being Returned to Sender (RTS).
Vacation Requests can only be submitted by a resident and below are the step by step instructions and the video tutorial.

Step-by-Step Tutorial:
In order to submit a request, you should log into your HelloPackage profile and on the left hand column select Vacation Requests.
Next, you will want to click on New Vacation Request.
On the next screen you will want to enter a numeric value in the first field named Number of Days Requested (example: enter the number "3" for three days or the number "5" for five days).
Then you will want to click on the date next to Start At and use the calendar to select the date in which your vacation will start.
Finally, next to Description enter in a brief description of the request and hit Submit.
This same section will provide a historical log of previous vacation requests and current vacation requests, along with their status, allowing you to check in on a new request at any time.
Residents can always contact Support to confirm the status and answer any questions related to a Vacation Request.
